5 STAR FAMILY CAMPING AT SPORTCAMP WOFERLGUT

05.09.2017

Hello everyone, we are family Dressler from Berlin and Mutti Helga (45) tells you how we left the city stress behind us at the 5 star family camping.

My husband, Joachim, and his motor home. This is a story all of its own. It all started about 3 years ago. Joachim, then 51 years old, had received a good job offer and changed jobs. Just like the motto, to start again at the age of 50. At his new employer, he met Klaus, a business colleague, who told him all about his vacations with the motor home - and accompanied the whole thing with beautiful pictures of the vacation and the motor home. Joachim, who also likes to be comfortable on vacation, quickly recognized the advantages of this way of traveling. Klaus also clarified that there were now numerous very well maintained used models on the motorhome market. Klaus gave tips on what to look for when buying and which portals would come into question. And just a short time later, an XL motorhome was standing in our driveway.

DIRECTION PANORAMA CAMPING IN BRUCK - ZELL AM SEE

We wanted to travel not only nice and comfortable, but also the destination should leave nothing to be desired in terms of comfort. Since we had some bad luck with the selection last year in the deep south, this time it should work out all around. Again it was Klaus who made us a suggestion: "You don't have to go that far. The Austrians are fully fit in the matter of camping. Take a look at the possibilities around the Zeller See in the Salzburger Land." No sooner said than done, we went on a destination search with our tablet and came across the 5-star camping near Zell am See. The camping in Bruck im Sportcamp Wolferlgut seemed to be just right for us as a sports-loving family - and the surroundings with all the attractions also fit. So off we went to Austria to the camping in Bruck am Großglockner.

THE ARRIVAL IS A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

The closer we get to our destination, the higher our spirits rise. Because the landscape becomes even more beautiful with every kilometer. At home, we are blessed with plenty of attractions, but Berlin doesn't stand a chance against this panorama alone. Here, moreover, traffic jams and honking concerts recede into the distance. Upon arrival, we are warmly greeted by our hosts and familiarized with the campground. Then we eagerly make our way to our booked "luxury pitch". And it deserves the name rightly. On 150 m² of space, all important connections such as gas, electricity, water, sewer and cable TV are available. A beautiful private swimming lake plus pool (heated) including sunbathing lawn is at our disposal - and not only that. The luxury pitch includes access to all all-inclusive facilities.

THIS IS HOW SERVICE SHOULD LOOK LIKE

After arriving, we spend the first evening totally relaxed at the campsite near the natural pond and enjoy the sunset. But the very next day, the sports-mad family embarks on its first vacation adventure - the low ropes course awaits. What looks so easy turns out to be quite tricky, but a lot of fun. Balance, strength and skill are required on obstacles such as suspension bridges, slacklines and "trembling beams". After the huge exertion, we cool off in the bathing lake and then head for the wellness adventure center. We enjoy the sauna and then relax in the relaxation room. Totally relaxed, Joachim and I treat ourselves to two fruity long drinks at the bar. The kids still have energy and rush towards the hobby room for a table tennis duel with other youngsters. In general, we don't have to worry about the kids when it comes to entertainment. Boredom is definitely not an issue in the indoor children's land with ball pool, climbing wall, craft room and cinema. But especially nice are always joint family trips.

AROUND THE SPORTS CAMP

Since we are all enthusiastic cyclists, Joachim has of course expertly lashed our bikes to the camper. The area around the Zellersee is predestined to be discovered by mountain bike. As many as 1,200 km of designated bike routes in the most beautiful mountain landscape are available here. We let the hosts recommend one of the numerous family tours and off we go. Oh yes, you choose the level of difficulty of the tour according to your mood - and you can also rent bikes. For the "Tour de Austria" there are even guided road bike tours. After our sporting activities (with fitness sport supervision) such as an exciting beach volleyball tournament, the wellness units are always waiting for you at Sportcamp Woferlgut. According to the motto: First the work, then the double pleasure. The whole family loves the sauna and swimming in the bathing lake and outdoor pool. But also the sights are not missed out on our luxury camping vacation.

GROSSGLOCKNER AND THE ICE GIANT – IMPRESSIVE WITNESSES

When camping in Bruck on the Grossglockner Road, a trip to the Grossglockner and later a visit to the "ice giants" is on the agenda as a matter of course. The Grossglockner High Alpine Road from Bruck to Heiligenblut makes the heart of every motorized fan beat faster - not because of the danger, mind you, but because of the magnificent view of numerous "three-thousand-meter peaks". We will not forget the unique mountain panorama so quickly. The "view into the innermost" exerts a completely different fascination on us. Near the tranquil village of Werfen we take the opportunity to visit the largest ice cave in the world - the Eisriesenwelt. Well informed, we are perfectly prepared and wear sturdy shoes and functional clothing. At temperatures just below 0 degrees, we overcome a total of 134 meters in altitude and discover the most bizarre ice formations. "Didn't a giant just move there?" No, it was just our imagination playing tricks on us. All grandiose vacation experiences at Camping Bruck an der Glocknerstraße, which have a long lasting effect. Unfortunately, the two weeks of vacation were over much too quickly and thus too short. Next year we will add another week to explore the area around our favorite campsite even more. We also wish you a great vacation at Camping Bruck Zell am See at Sportcamp Woferlgut - Dressler family from Berlin.
