Seecamp Zell am See

This winter will be truly spectacular around Seecamp Zell am See, as the region is officially ushering in the future of skiing. Two new attractions are making this possible: the completion of the ski area link between Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel, and the new “ZellamSeeXpress”.

One of the main draws for ski enthusiasts is – and always will be – the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area. Its wide natural-snow pistes guarantee not only an unparalleled skiing experience, but also magnificent views.

The campsite itself is also perfectly prepared for winter campers. Whether it’s a ski boot drying room, a ski bus stop, a ski room with lockable ski lockers, or ski and boot hire, you can expect a true all-round, worry-free service.

And for those who don’t want to hit the slopes every day, there are romantic walks in the snow along the frozen lake or the chance to try the cross-country trail that runs right next to the site. Pure relaxation is also offered by the idyllic winter hiking paths that wind through a magical mountain backdrop.

Sportcamp Woferlgut

Dreamlike family, wellness and sports offers, combined with a wide range of leisure activities – that is Sport Camp Woferlgut. The rental caravans, comfort and luxury pitches invite you to feel at home with their cosy atmosphere.

All around the campsite, skiers can really let off steam! For example, in the panorama and family ski area Schmittenhöhe, which not only impresses with 77 kilometres of pistes, but also with one of the world’s longest fun slopes. Even so, it is worth pausing for a moment, because the view of the 30 three-thousand-metre peaks of the Hohe Tauern is simply breathtaking!

Salzburg’s highest ski area, the Kitzsteinhorn, opens the new season as early as October. Right through to early summer, the 61 kilometres of pistes offer plenty of sporting fun. Action is guaranteed here, as this is also home to Austria’s largest superpipe.

And by the way: the famous Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm is just a 30-minute drive away – a trip to this world-renowned ski area is always worthwhile!
